You Know Me Movement
The You Know Me movement is a 2019 movement by abortion rights advocates in the United States to fight abortion stigma. A similar campaign and movement from 2015 is called #ShoutYourAbortion. The You Know Me movement is an American response the successful 2019 passage of six-week abortion bans in five U.S. states, most notably the passing of anti-abortion laws in Georgia ( House Bill 381),- - - Ohio ( House Bill 68) and Alabama ( House Bill 314) . Abortion-rights Movements
Abortion-rights movements, also referred to as pro-choice movements, advocate for the right to have legal access to induced abortion services including elective abortion. They seek to represent and support women who wish to terminate their pregnancy without fear of legal or social backlash. These movements are in direct opposition to anti-abortion movements. The issue of induced abortion remains divisive in public life, with recurring arguments to liberalize or to restrict access to legal abortion services. Pregnancy is the time during which one or more offspring develops ( gestates) inside a woman's uterus (womb). A multiple pregnancy involves more than one offspring, such as with twins.
