Clemens Hasse (13 April 1908 – 28 July 1959) was a German actor and synchroniser. Biography Hasse was born in Königsberg, East Prussia to a public official and attended his stage education at the ''Preussisches Staatstheater'' in Berlin. Between 1929 and 1944, when the Theater was closed down, he was a constant member of the Staatstheater ensemble. Hasse first appeared in a UFA movie in 1932 and acted in several movies next to popular stars like Heinz Rühmann or Hans Albers. He was the German dubbing voice of Eddie Albert, Lou Costello, José Ferrer, Oliver Hardy, Sid James and also the voice of the white rabbit in Disneys ''Alice in Wonderland''. Paul Henckels (9 September 1885 – 27 May 1967) was a German film and stage actor. He appeared in more than 230 films between 1921 and 1965. Paul Henckels had started his acting career on the stage in the 1900s. He was well known for his eccentric, colourful roles and his trademark Rhineland accent. Among his most popular roles were the school teacher Professor Bömmel in ''Die Feuerzangenbowle'' (1944) and the veterinarian Dr. Pudlich in the "Immenhof film series" during the 1950s. He was also notable as a stage actor and appeared at the Schauspielhaus Berlin for many years. His most popular stage role was '' Wibbel the Tailor'', which he played more than 1000 times. Lucie Mannheim (30 April 1899 – 17 July 1976) was a German singer and actress. Life and career Mannheim was born in Köpenick, Berlin, where she studied drama and quickly became a popular figure appearing on stage in plays and musicals. Among other roles, she played Nora in Ibsen's ''A Doll's House'', Marie in Büchner's ''Woyzeck'', and Juliet in Shakespeare's ''Romeo and Juliet''. She also began a film career in 1923, appearing in several silent and sound films including '' Atlantik'' (1929) – the first of many versions of the story of the ill-fated RMS ''Titanic''. The composer Walter Goetze wrote his operetta ''Die göttliche Jette'' (1931) especially for Mannheim.
