''You Can't Stop Me'' is the fourth studio album by American deathcore band Suicide Silence. It was released in the UK on July 14, 2014 and in North America on July 15 by Nuclear Blast. It is the first album featuring vocalist Hernan "Eddie" Hermida, and the first album without original lead vocalist Mitch Lucker, who died in 2012. Album title The album title and title track come from a set of lyrics that Mitch Lucker wrote before he died. The song's music video was released on July 1, 2014. Singles On May 6, 2014, the song "Cease to Exist" was released as the first single from the album, and was made available for purchase on iTunes. The lyric video to "Cease to Exist" was released on Nuclear Blast, Nuclear Blast's YouTube channel the same day. The second single from the album, "Don't Die", was released on June 12, 2014. Suicide Silence is an American deathcore band from Riverside, California. The band was established in 2002, and has released six studio albums, three EPs, and nineteen music videos. They were awarded the ''Revolver'' Golden God award for "Best New Talent" in 2009. The group currently consists of guitarists Chris Garza and Mark Heylmun, bassist Dan Kenny, vocalist Hernan "Eddie" Hermida and drummer Ernie Iniguez. History Formation, demos and self-titled debut EP (2002–2006) Suicide Silence was founded in 2002 in Riverside, California. At the time, it was a side project made up of musicians from other bands. Suicide is the act of intentionally causing one's own death. Mental disorders (including depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders, anxiety disorders), physical disorders (such as chronic fatigue syndrome), and substance abuse (including alcoholism and the use of and withdrawal from benzodiazepines) are risk factors. Hatebreed is an American hardcore band from Bridgeport, Connecticut, formed in 1994. The band released its debut album '' Satisfaction is the Death of Desire'' in 1997, which gave the band a cult following. The band signed to Universal Records and released ''Perseverance'' in 2002, which hit the ''Billboard'' 200. Combining elements of hardcore and heavy metal, the band is often described as a metalcore, hardcore punk, and beatdown hardcore band. They have played a major role in the Connecticut hardcore scene. ''Suicide Silence'' is the debut EP by American deathcore band Suicide Silence. Its original release was on September 30, 2005 through Riverside local label Third Degree Records. It was officially reissued by British label In at the Deep End Records in 2006. Background The EP was recorded during the summer of 2005 and was released originally on September 30, 2005 through Third Degree Records and was recorded as the band's first ever studio-quality release for listening audiences and was released one year before the band's third demo was recorded, which in turn led to their signing to Century Media. Gregory John Puciato (born March 27, 1980) is an American musician best known as the former lead vocalist and lyricist of the metalcore band the Dillinger Escape Plan. He is also the lead singer of the Black Queen and Killer Be Killed, in which he also plays guitar. In 2018, Puciato and visual artist Jesse Draxler co-founded the art collective and record label Federal Prisoner. George Fisher (born July 8, 1970), better known by his stage name Corpsegrinder, is an American death metal vocalist who is the lead singer of Cannibal Corpse, Paths of Possession and the supergroup Serpentine Dominion. He recorded two albums with Florida's Monstrosity before leaving and joining Cannibal Corpse in late 1995, replacing vocalist Chris Barnes, who is now the vocalist for Six Feet Under. Mitch Lucker
Mitchell Adam Lucker (October 20, 1984 – November 1, 2012) was an American vocalist best known as the lead singer for the deathcore band Suicide Silence. Career Mitch Lucker first started performing music in the year 2000 with the band Breakaway, which would later become the Corona local metalcore band Dying Dreams. Dying Dreams featured Lucker on vocals and his brother Cliff on guitar, along with later Suicide Silence bandmates Josh Tufano on second guitar and Mike Olheiser on bass. Around a year before Dying Dreams broke up, Mitch Lucker was inducted into Suicide Silence when the band was still deemed a side-project. Suicide Silence's debut album, '' The Cleansing'', sold 7,250 copies in the first week. Their second album ''No Time to Bleed'' was released in June 2009.
