"You're a Big Girl Now" is a song by Bob Dylan, released on his 15th studio album, ''Blood on the Tracks'', in 1975. It is one of five songs on the album that Dylan initially recorded in New York City in September 1974 and then re-recorded in Minneapolis in December that year. The latter recording, made on December 27, 1974, became the album track. Composition and recording Like most songs on ''Blood on the Tracks'', "You're a Big Girl Now" tells a story about two lovers that are breaking up. In the lyrics, the first-person narrator begs his lover to give him one more chance. Some critics have interpreted the song as being inspired by the tumult in Dylan's marriage to his then-wife Sara. Dylan vehemently denied this, however, in the liner notes to ''Biograph'': “I read that this was supposed to be about my wife. Bob Dylan (legally Robert Dylan, born Robert Allen Zimmerman, May 24, 1941) is an American singer-songwriter. Often regarded as one of the greatest songwriters of all time, Dylan has been a major figure in popular culture during a career spanning more than 60 years. Zita Swoon is a Belgian indie rock group. They entered the music scene of Antwerp in 1993, still under the name A Beatband with the EP ''Jintro Travels The Word In A Skirt''. The group is typical of the music scene in Antwerp, with members playing in numerous other groups. The best known member is singer, musician and composer Stef Kamil Carlens, who founded the group together with Aarich Jespers and also played in dEUS. ''Quiet Girl with a Credit Card'' is the debut album from Australian singer-songwriter Lisa Miller. It was released in Australia in 1996 on the W.Minc label and licensed for release in Europe by Demon Records. Lisa Anne Miller is an Australian country pop singer-songwriter and guitarist. Lloyd Cole
Lloyd Cole (born 31 January 1961) is an English singer and songwriter. He was lead singer of Lloyd Cole and the Commotions from 1984 to 1989 and subsequently worked solo. Early life Cole was born in Buxton, Derbyshire, England. He grew up in nearby Chapel-en-le-Frith and went to New Mills Grammar School and later attended Runshaw College in Leyland. The Sports were an Australian Rock music, rock group which performed and recorded between 1976 and 1981. Mainstay members were Stephen Cummings on lead vocals and Robert Glover on bass guitar, with long-term members such as Paul Hitchins on drums, Andrew Pendlebury on lead guitar and vocals, and Martin Armiger on guitar. Norman Raeben
Norman Raeben (1901 – 12 December 1978) was an American painter. Life He was born in the Russian Empire, the youngest of the six children, four girls and two boys, of Yiddish author Sholom Aleichem. Aleichem's most famous character, Tevye the Milkman, gave the blueprint for the musical '' Fiddler on the Roof''. Raeben's father's name, Sholom Aleichem, is a pen-name that means "peace unto to you". His father's name at birth was Solomon Rabinowitz.
