York Prep School
York Preparatory School commonly referred to as York Prep School, is an independent, university-preparatory school in the Upper West Side area of Manhattan, New York City, near Lincoln Square. The coeducational school provides instruction to approximately 410 students between 6th and 12th grades. The student:teacher ratio is 5:1. York Prep is approved by the New York State Board of Regents and accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. For the 2022–2023 school year, tuition is US$58,000 including fees for students in every grade, tuition for students in the school's ITP program is $71,000, and tuition for students in the school's "Jump Start" program is $86,800. Dwight School is an independent college preparatory school located on Manhattan's Upper West Side. Dwight offers the International Baccalaureate curriculum to students ages two through grade twelve. History Founded in 1872 by Julius Sachs as part of the Sachs Collegiate Institute, Dwight School was first known as "The Sachs School," then The Franklin School. Originally located on West 34th Street and Broadway, it relocated several times as it grew, ultimately moving to 18 West 89th Street in 1912. James De La Vega
James De La Vega (1972) is a visual artist of Puerto Rican descent who lives in New York City. He is best known for his street aphorisms and muralist art.''Become Your Dream'' by De La Vega. Robert Chambers (killer)
Robert Emmet Chambers Jr. (born September 25, 1966) is an American criminal and convicted murderer. He was dubbed the Preppy Killer and the Central Park Strangler by the media after the August 26, 1986, strangulation death of 18-year-old Jennifer Levin in New York City's Central Park, for which he was originally charged with second degree murder. Chambers changed his story during the course of the ensuing investigation, ultimately claiming that Levin's death was the accidental result of him pushing her off of him when she caused him pain as she sexually assaulted him, an account that was characterized by media accounts as one of "rough sex". Yannis Pappas is an American comedian from Park Slope, Brooklyn, New York. Early life Pappas was born in Brooklyn, New York to Chris Pappas, an Army officer, and Anna Pappas née Mamalakis, a Greek lawyer originally from Rethymno, Crete. A Chromebook (sometimes stylized in lowercase as chromebook) is a laptop or tablet running the Linux-based ChromeOS as its operating system.
