Yordan Manduley
Yordan (Escalante) Manduley (born March 30, 1986) is a Cuban professional baseball player for the Québec Capitales of the Frontier League and plays for the Holguín baseball team in the Cuban National Series. Career Manduley began his professional career with the Quebec Capitales of the Can-Am League in 2015. From 2015 to 2019, Manduley hit .313 with 362 hits and 7 home runs over 1,158 at-bats for the Capitales. Manduley did not play in 2020 due to the cancellation of the Frontier League season because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Shortstop
Shortstop, abbreviated SS, is the baseball or softball fielding position between second and third base, which is considered to be among the most demanding defensive positions. Historically the position was assigned to defensive specialists who were typically poor at batting and were often placed at the bottom of the batting order. Today, shortstops are often able to hit well and many are placed at the top of the lineup. In the numbering system used by scorers to record defensive plays, the shortstop is assigned the number 6.
