Yonkaira Paola Peña Isabel (born May 5, 1993 in Santo Domingo) is a Dominican volleyball player, who plays as an outside hitter. She was a member of the Women's National Team, who won the bronze medal with her native country at the 2008 NORCECA Girls' U18 Volleyball Continental Championship in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico wearing the number #16 jersey. Career She played for Chemik Police for the 2015/16 season. Peña signed for the Brazilian club Sesc-RJ. 2015 Women's Pan-American Volleyball Cup
The 2015 Pan-American Volleyball Cup was the fourteenth edition of the annual women's volleyball tournament, played by twelve countries over June, 2014 in Lima and Callao, Peru. The competition served as a qualifier for the 2016 FIVB World Grand Prix. The United States won their fourth championship defeating 3–0 to the Dominican Republic and the American Krista Vansant won the Most Valuable Player of the tournament. Universidad de San Martín de Porres is a women's volleyball club based in Lima, Peru champions of the Peruvian League in 2014 and 2015 and bronze medalists in the 2015 South American Championship. The club takes its name from the private university Universidad de San Martín de Porres. History 2012 After announcing the retirement of the Universidad de San Martín de Porres football club from the National football National Championship, the club intended to focus in other sports, strengthening the volleyball club among them. The Mirador Sport and Cultural Center or simply Mirador is a women's volleyball club, based in Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional, Dominican Republic. History The team was found 1970. With the help of Cosiri Rodríguez, who became the "Most Valuable Player" at the 2004 Distrito Nacional Superior Tournament, Mirador win the 9th consecutive and 23rd Championship, defeating Los Cachorros in the 7th game of the final series. The team won in 2006 its 24th title at the Distrito Nacional Volleyball Tournament. Central American And Caribbean Games
The Central American and Caribbean Games (CAC or CACGs) are a multi-sport regional championship event, held quadrennial (once every four years), typically in the middle (even) year between Summer Olympics. The games are for countries in Central America, the Caribbean, Mexico, and the South American Caribbean countries of Colombia, Guyana, Suriname, and Venezuela. The 2013 Women's NORCECA Volleyball Championship was the 23rd edition of the Women's Continental Volleyball Tournament.
