Bruce Yonemoto and Norman Yonemoto are two Los Angeles, California-based Video art, video/installation artists of Japanese American heritage. Family background and birth Bruce and Norman Yonemoto's family was among the 120,000 Japanese American internment, incarcerated Japanese Americans during World War II. Their mother, Fumiko Rosie Hitomi, was placed with her family at Tule Lake in Northern California. Their father, Tak Yomemoto, had been drafted into the United States Army. When Rosie's uncle was brutally murdered in camp, Tak sent condolences and rekindled their relationship. Soon after, they were given permission to marry and leave the camp. Rosie was then allowed to relocate to Chicago, where Norman was born in 1946. Once the war ended and Japanese Americans were released, the family relocated to Northern California where their father worked as a carnation grower and plant pathogist. Koharu Yonemoto
is a retired Japanese badminton player who affiliate with Hokuto Bank. She was the women's doubles bronze medalist at the 2018 World Championships, and the silver medalist at the 2013 East Asian Games. She won the year-end tournament Superseries Finals in 2017. Yonemoto was part of Japanese winning team at the 2017 Asia Mixed Team Championships, 2018 Uber Cup, 2018 Asian Games, and at the 2018 Asia Women's Team Championships. Career Yonemoto won the 2011 New Zealand and Austrian International tournament partnered with Yuriko Miki. They also won the Grand Prix title at the 2014 Russia Open tournament. is a Japanese footballer who plays as defensive midfielder for club Nagoya Grampus. National team career In August 2007, Yonemoto was elected Japan U-17 national team for 2007 U-17 World Cup.
