Yoda Nobushige
Yoda () is a fictional character in the ''Star Wars'' universe, first appearing in the 1980 film '' The Empire Strikes Back''. He is a small, green humanoid alien who is powerful with the Force and is a leading member of the Jedi Order until its near annihilation. In ''The Empire Strikes Back'', Yoda was voiced and puppeteered by Frank Oz, who reprised the role in '' Return of the Jedi'', the prequel trilogy, and the sequel trilogy. Outside of the films, the character has been mainly voiced by Tom Kane, starting with the 2003 ''Clone Wars'' animated television series. Yoda is an iconic figure in popular culture due to his distinct pattern of speech and role as a wise mentor. Puppeteer
A puppeteer is a person who manipulates an inanimate object, called a puppet, to create the illusion that the puppet is alive. The puppet is often shaped like a human, animal, or legendary creature. The puppeteer may be visible to or hidden from the audience. A puppeteer can operate a puppet indirectly by the use of strings, rods, wires, electronics or directly by his or her own hands placed inside the puppet or holding it externally or any other part of the body- such as the legs. Galactic Republic
The Galactic Republic, often referred to as simply the Republic, is a fictional galactic polity depicted in the ''Star Wars'' universe, where it existed prior to the establishment of the Galactic Empire. The Republic is most prominently portrayed in the prequel trilogy of films in the ''Star Wars'' franchise. In the original trilogy, set later in time, it is referred to as the Old Republic. The Republic is portrayed as a democratic republic that has sustained itself peacefully for over twenty-five thousand years, but was tied up in layers of bureaucracy. David Chapman is an English actor, presenter, puppeteer and voice artist. Don Austen (born 19 January 1958) is an English puppeteer. He began his career in 1981 at Cannon Hill Park's puppet theatre in his hometown of Birmingham. Austen joined the Jim Henson Jim Henson's Creature Shop, Creature Shop in 1986 for the movie ''Labyrinth (1986 film), Labyrinth''. Wendy Froud (''née'' Midener; born 1954) is an American doll-artist, sculptor, puppet-maker, and writer. She is best known for her work fabricating Yoda for the 1980 film '' Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back'', for which she has been called "the mother of Yoda", and creatures for the Jim Henson films ''The Dark Crystal'' and ''Labyrinth''. Early life Froud was born in Detroit, Michigan, in 1954 to painter and 3D-collage artist Margaret "Peggy" (née Mackenzie; 1925–2016) and sculptor and artist Walter Midener (1912–1998). Mike Quinn (born 1964) is an English puppeteer, animator, actor, director, producer, voice-over artist, puppet builder, composer and mentor. He is also known as Mike Quinby, Michael E. Quinn, and Michael Quinn. Early life and career Quinn was born in Kent, England, and grew up in Enfield, Middlesex. He began puppeteering at age eight. In 1977, Mike regularly visited the set of ''The Muppet Show'' with his homemade puppets, eventually meeting Jim Henson. David Alan Barclay is a British puppeteer who had worked on some projects of The Jim Henson Company. He has been at the cutting edge of animatronic puppetry since 1979.
