Daniel Oswaldo Donlucas Martínez (born 24 October 1999), known professionally at Yng Lvcas, is a Mexican singer-songwriter and rapper known for corridos and reggaeton music. His 2023 remix of "La Bebé" with Peso Pluma charted number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100. Life Donlucas was born on 24 October 1999 in Guadalajara, Jalisco. In 2021, he released ''Wup? Mixtape1'', an eight-track extended play with corridos. Later in 2021, he released ''LPM'' featuring reggaeton songs including "La Bebé." The song went viral on TikTok. "La Bebé" (Spanish for "The Baby") is a song by Mexican singer Yng Lvcas, released as first single from his second mixtape ''LPM'' on 24 December, 2021, same day of the release of the mixtape. The song was written by Yng Lvcas and Héctor Adrián Salazar Aguayo and produced by Bounce Bosses. The single and mixtape were released through the independent label We Are Bosses Records, before he signed with Warner Music and his musical catalog became promoted by this company. The song was going to be part of his previous album ''Wup? Mixtape 1'' (2021), an album of corridos but since it was a reggaeton song he decided not to add it. The corrido () is a popular narrative metrical tale and poetry that forms a ballad. The songs are often about oppression, history, daily life for criminals, the vaquero lifestyle, and other socially relevant topics. Corridos were widely popular during the Mexican Revolution, and in the Southwestern American frontier as it was also a part of the development of Tejano music and New Mexico music, which later influenced Western music. The ''corrido'' derives largely from the romance, and in its most known form consists of a salutation from the singer and prologue to the story, the story itself, and a moral and farewell from the singer.
