Ylva is a sailboat class designed by Steen Kjølhede and built in about 100 copies. History Dinghy builder Steen Kjølhede built the first wooden Ylva in 1973 and won the 1973 Sjælland Rundt, an achievement he repeated three more times in a row with new-built Ylvas. Sjælland Rundt
Sjælland Rundt (lit. Round Zealand Race) is a sailing race around the Danish island Zealand. It is organized by the Elsinore Sailing Club History The race was first held on 29 June 1947. During the 1980s, Sjælland Rundt had over 2000 competing boats, making it the biggest sailing race in the world. Races The 2020 race was announced to be June 25-28. The BB 10 (also referred to as the BB10, BB-10 and BB 10 Meter) is a Danish sailboat that was designed by Børge Børresen and his son, Anders Børresen, as a one-design racer and first built in 1977.Sherwood, Richard M.: ''A Field Guide to Sailboats of North America, Second Edition'', pages 254-255.
