Pasha Yiğit Bey
Pasha Yiğit Bey or Saruhanli Pasha Yiğit Bey ( sh, Pašait-beg, also ''Pasaythus'' or ''Basaitus'' d. 1413) was an Ottoman civil and military officer at the end of the 14th and beginning of the 15th century. Life He was born in Manisa and was of Yörük origin. Yiğit was the tutor of Ishak Bey, the second ruler of Sanjak of Üsküp, and the father of Turahan BeyBabinger (1987), p. 876 an Ottoman general, conqueror of Thessaly and warden of its marches. The Ottoman Sultan granted large land estates to Pasha Yiğit Bey and to Ishak Bey for their merits. He died in Skopje, and was buried in the yard of the notable Mustafa Pasha Mosque. The mosque and türbe were destroyed during World War II. Military career Pasha Yiğit Bey was one of the Ottoman commanders in the Battle of Kosovo in 1389. Yiğit Aslan (born 11 March 2003) is a Turkish swimmer competing in freestyle events. He obtained a quota for the 2020 Summer Olympics. Inspired by a poster about a swimming course in a shopping mall, he started swimming sport at the age of ten. Aslan is a member of Enka SK. He was coached by the Italian Corrado Rosso in the national team. Yiğit Caner Aydın (born 23 August 1992) is a Turkish world-champion para-archer competing in the Men's compound bow W1 event. Early life Yiğit Caner Aydın was born in Trabzon, northeastern Turkey on 23 August 1992. He moved to Istanbul with his family at the age of three. In 2006, he started to develop web projects, and earning his living. In 2010, he entered Faculty of Astronomy and Space Science at Istanbul University. By participating in social responsibility projects, he aimed to help children living in disadvantaged regions develop their social skills and themselves.
