Yin Xiangjie
Yin Xiangjie (born 15 February 1969) is a Chinese Mandopop singer, host, and actor. He rose to fame after singing "Boat Tracker's Love" at the Lantern Festival in Beijing Television in 1994, featuring fellow singer Yu Wenhua. Biography Yin was born in Fangshan District of Beijing, on February 15, 1969, with his ancestral home in Lanshan District of Rizhao, Shandong. After graduating from Beijing Yuying School in July 1987, he joined Beijing Advertising Art Troupe as a solo. In 1988 he obtained third prize of National "Red Horse" Song Contest. In November 1989, he transferred to Chinese Broadcasting Art Troupe. Yin Xiangjie recorded his first song ''About Us'' in 1992. He first rose to prominence in 1994 for singing ''The Love Boat Tracker'' with Yu Wenhua at the Lantern Festival in Beijing Television. Yin () is a Chinese surname. In 800 BCE, Bo Jifu, a renowned judge during the reign of King Xuan of Zhou, held the position of Yin (equivalent to First Minister or most favored Minister) and changed his name to Yin Jifu. Lo Ta-yu
Lo Ta-yu (; born 20 July 1954), also known as Luo Dayou and Law Tai-yau, is a Taiwanese singer and songwriter. During the 1980s, Lo became one of the most influential Mandopop singer-songwriters with his melodic lyrics and love songs, and his witty social and political commentary that he infused in his more political songs, often to the point that some of his songs were suppressed in Taiwan and Mainland China during the 1980s.
