Yevhen Vasylyovych Pokhlebaev ( uk, Євген Васильович Похлєбаєв; russian: Евгений Васильевич Похлебаев; born 25 November 1971 in Poltava) is a retired Ukraine, Ukrainian Association football, football midfielder. Career He capped 6 games for USSR youth team at 1991 FIFA World Youth Championship and scored one goal against the youth team of Trinidad and Tobago. He had to retire in 1997 after complications from acute herpesviral encephalitis caused him to have severe amnesia. Poltava (, ; uk, Полтава ) is a city located on the Vorskla River in central Ukraine. It is the capital city of the Poltava Oblast (province) and of the surrounding Poltava Raion (district) of the oblast. Poltava is administratively incorporated as a city of oblast significance and does not belong to the raion. The UEFA European Under-19 Championship, or simply UEFA Under-19 Championship or the UEFA Euro U-19, is an annual football competition contested by the European men's under-19 national teams of the member associations of UEFA. Spain and England are the joint most successful team in this competition, having won eleven titles each. England are also the current champions. The Ukrainian Cup 1995–96 is the fifth annual edition of Ukraine's football knockout competition, known as the Ukrainian Cup. The Cup started with the round of 32, but it also had couple of preliminaries. This season two legs rounds were discontinued and all rounds consisted of only one game. Also the extra tier was merged with the Second League. The competition kicked off on 1 August 1995 with 24 games. Five games were announced as a forfeit on 1 August, while one more on 1 October 1995. The Ukrainian Cup ( uk, Кубок України) is an association football national knockout cup competition run by the Ukrainian Association of Football. The competition is conducted almost exclusively among professional clubs. Since the 2003–04 season, the Cup winner qualifies to play the Ukrainian Premier League winner for the Ukrainian Super Cup. Current format The format of this competition consists of two stages: a qualification stage with two rounds followed by the main event (four rounds and the final game). The competition involves all professional clubs plus the two finalists of the Ukrainian Amateur Cup (since 2011). Past variations of the competition involved a home-away type of elimination, but the Ukrainian Cup has since changed to a single game per round format.
