Yesyesyesyesyes (stylised as yesyesyesyesyes) is the debut album from Brisbane band The Boat People, following four EPs over five years. It features the singles "Clean" and "Unsettle my Heart" as well as "Tell Someone Who Cares", a song from their previous EP of the same name. The group has three different singers on the record. For the most part, it's keyboardist Robin Waters who is the lead singer, but bassist James O'Brien contributes lead vocals to five tracks on the record, and guitarist Charles Dugan gives lead on the track "Central Station". The Boat People were an Australian four-piece indie pop band. The Brisbane based group consists of James O'Brien, Robin Waters, Charles Dugan and Tony Garrett. History The Boat People began performing in the Brisbane music scene in early 2000, releasing their debut self-titled E.P. in October of that year. In 2002, the band's released their second E.P. titled ''Squeaky Clean E.P.''. Another E.P. was released in 2003, titled ''Three Pieces for Small Ensemble'' found radio success and the band toured before the departure of drummer Chris Pickering. Pickering was briefly replaced by Geoff Green, of successful Brisbane group George, before Tony Garrett joined the group. Magoo (Australian Producer)
Magoo is the professional name of Lachlan Goold, a multi award-winning Australian music producer based in Brisbane, Queensland. After working briefly in mechanical engineering, Magoo began in music as a live sound engineer, touring nationally before producing seasoned local Brisbane bands the Dreamkillers and Pangaea in the early 1990s. By the mid-1990s Magoo had recorded music by Powderfinger, as well as two EPs by Regurgitator. He rose to prominence with his production work on Regurgitator's debut album ''Tu-Plang'', which also earned him his first ARIA Music Awards, ARIA award nominations in 1996. Robin Waters
Robin Hugh Clough Waters (6 December 1937 – 9 December 2017) was an Irish professional cricketer and cricket coach. Waters was born in Calcutta and educated at Shrewsbury School and St Edmund Hall, Oxford. He played cricket for Oxford University, Sussex and Ireland.
