Yellow Line (Namma Metro)
The Yellow Line of Namma Metro is under construction and will form part of the rapid transit, metro rail network for the city of Bangalore, Karnataka, India. The 18.82 km line connects R.V. Road with Bommasandra and is fully elevated with 16 stations.bmrc.co.in/pdf/phase2/phase2forweb.pdf R.V. Road station is the terminal station on city side where an interchange is being provided with the Green Line (Namma Metro), Green Line. List Of Namma Metro Stations
The list of operational stations of Namma Metro ('' en, Our metro''), also known as Bangalore Metro (rapid transit system serving the city of Bangalore in India) is as per table below. Out of the operational 52 metro stations of Namma Metro as of November 2022, there are 43 elevated stations, 8 underground stations and 1 at-grade station. The first section (on Purple Line) of the Namma Metro system opened on 20 October 2011 between Baiyappanahalli and M.G Road. The system is operated by the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL). Each line of Namma Metro is identified by a specific colour. The ORR-West Line (provisionally Orange Line) is a proposed line that will become part of Namma Metro's network in the city of Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Phase-3A of Namma Metro consists of two lines that are planned to be opened sometime in 2028-29. Both lines will have a common depot at Sumanahalli where the new lines will intersect. Purple Line (Namma Metro)
The Purple Line is a part of the Namma Metro metro rail system for the city of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. As of 2021, the line is 25.7 km and spans 23 stations from Kengeri in the southwest to Baiyappanahalli to the east. The Purple Line is mostly elevated, with 17 elevated stations, 5 underground stations and 1 at-grade station. The Line passes through many prime activity centers of the city including MG Road, Vidhana Soudha and Majestic station, which is an interchange station between Purple and Green Lines.
