The yellow-shouldered amazon (''Amazona barbadensis''), also known as the yellow-shouldered parrot, is a parrot of the genus ''amazon parrot, Amazona'' that is found in the arid areas of northern Venezuela, the Venezuelan islands of Isla Margarita, Margarita and Blanquilla Island, La Blanquilla, and the island of Bonaire (Caribbean Netherlands). The orange-winged amazon (''Amazona amazonica''), also known locally as orange-winged parrot and loro guaro, is a large amazon parrot.
