Yeh Shin-cheng
Yeh Shin-cheng () is a Taiwanese politician. He served as Minister without Portfolio of the Executive Yuan from 2014 to 2016. He was Deputy Minister of the Environmental Protection Administration from 2012 to 2014. Education Yeh obtained his bachelor's degree in civil engineering and master's degree in environmental engineering from National Taiwan University (NTU) in 1987 and 1992, respectively. He obtained his doctorate in water resources and environmental systems at Cornell University in the United States in 1996. Early career Yeh served as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Graduate Institute of Environmental Engineering of NTU in 1996-1997 and adjunct assistant professor in the same department in 1997–1998. Executive Yuan
The Executive Yuan () is the executive branch of the government of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Its leader is the Premier, who is appointed by the President of the Republic of China, and requires confirmation by the Legislative Yuan. Under the amended constitution, the head of the Executive Yuan is the Premier who is positioned as the head of government and has the power to appoint members to serve in the cabinet, while the ROC President is the head of state under the semi-presidential system, who can appoint the Premier and nominate the members of the cabinet. Stephen Shen (; born 19 June 1949) is a Taiwanese politician. He was the Minister of the Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) of the Executive Yuan from 2008 to 2014. Taiwanese People
Taiwanese people may be generally considered the people of Taiwan who share a common culture, ancestry and speak Taiwanese Mandarin, Hokkien, Hakka or indigenous Taiwanese languages as a mother tongue.
