Assane Attyé ( ar, حسن عطية) better known by his stage name Ycare or (born 21 September 1983) is a French singer songwriter who was first known as a contestant in ''Nouvelle Star'' before launching a solo career releasing four studio albums, ''Au bord du monde'' (2009), ''Lumière noire'' (2011), ''La Somone'' (2014) and ''Adieu je t'aime'' (2018) and a live album ''Un tour sans fin'' (2016). Beginnings Attyé was born in Dakar, Senegal to Lebanese parents. Suffering an accident in his early life, he took on learning playing the guitar and wrote his own songs early on. After obtaining his high school diploma, he moved to France to continue his education and sang in various cafés in Montpellier region. The sixth season of ''Nouvelle Star'' aired from February 21 to June 13, 2008. Virginie Efira hosted her third season. Novelties of the season were brought with a change in the judging panel as André Manoukian remained as the only former jury member. Next to him, Lio, Sinclair and Philippe Manœuvre judged the contestants for the first time. Also a veto power was introduced in which the judges had the right to save an eliminated contestant which they used at their first opportunity. ''Nouvelle Star'' (; also known as ''À la Recherche de la Nouvelle Star'' for the first season) is a French television series based on the popular Pop Idol programme produced by FremantleMedia. It was broadcast by M6 in seasons 1–8 before D8 aired seasons 9-12. M6 broadcast the 13th and final season. It was hosted by Benjamin Castaldi for the first three seasons (2003–2005). "Mistral gagnant is the title song from French singer Renaud's 1985 album ''Mistral gagnant''. In the song, Renaud sings to his young daughter Lolita Séchan about his own childhood and realizes that time flies as will fly away the laughs of his daughter as a child.
