Yashwant Singh (born 1 March 1962) is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party and has won the 2014 Indian general elections from the Nagina. Early life and education Singh was born on 1 March 1962 to Ramchandra and Keshon Devi in the village Churiyala in Muzaffarnagar district in Uttar Pradesh. Singh is a doctor by profession. He gained his M.B.B.S. from Nehru Medical College and M.D. from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He married Raj Kumari in October 1991. Political career Singh was a Member, State Legislative Assembly, Uttar Pradesh for two consecutive terms, from 2002 to 2012. He was a Minister of State (Independent Charge), from 2007 to 2012. Yashwant Singh (born 28 July 1944) is an Indian theoretical physicist known for his contributions to soft matter physics. He is at present Distinguished Professor and INSA Senior Scientist at Banaras Hindu University. Biography Dr. Yashwant Singh born on 28 July 1944 in a village near Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. He completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Physics from Gorakhpur University (Now DDU University) in 1962 and 1964. He then joined Indian Association for the Cultivation of Sciences (IACS), Jadavpur, Kolkata, where he worked on transport phenomenon in gaseous state and obtained D. Phil. from Calcutta University (1969). He started his professional career as lecturer at Banaras Hindu University where he continues to work as a Distinguished Professor. Yashwant Singh Parmar
Yashwant Singh Parmar (4 August 1906 – 2 May 1981) was an Indian politician. He was a leader of the Indian National Congress and the first Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh state. Upon the formation of the constituent assembly of India in 1946, he represented Himachal Pradesh in the constituent assembly. For his key role in the formation of the Himachal Pradesh state, from the 1940s until 1977, Parmar is hailed as the architect, the founder, or the creator of the Himachal Pradesh state.
