The yakshas ( sa, यक्ष ; pi, yakkha, i=yes) are a broad class of nature-spirits, usually benevolent, but sometimes mischievous or capricious, connected with water, fertility, trees, the forest, treasure and wilderness. is a manga created by Clamp, consisting of ten volumes in all. It was first published in Japan in 1989 as Clamp's debut manga. The story features elements of Vedic mythology; the title itself is pronounced ''Rigveda'', the name of one of the four Vedas. The series is known for its extravagant and richly detailed art. It inspired a 2-episode anime OVA that was released through 1991 to 1992. The OVAs were licensed by Central Park Media, while Manga Entertainment licensed it in the UK and Australia, with a different English dub. Nidhi Yasha (born 26 April 1983) is an Indian costume designer. Nidhi designs costumes for ''Zee TV'''s ''Buddha and Star Plus TV'' series Mahabharat (2013 TV series)(2013) with Bhanu Athaiya as her consulting faculty for the show. Yasha said they studied over 450 books related to period textiles, costume and jewellery to arrive at the look for the show. Early life and education Nidhi Yasha was born in Patna in 1983. She studied at St.Joseph's Convent High School, Patna. She graduated from NIFT, Delhi in the year 2005. is a Japanese manga artist. She is one of the Year 24 Group, a collection of female artists who innovated (girls') manga throughout the 1970s. Her major works include and '' Terpsichora''.
