Yaranmurad Yazmuradov
Yaranmurad Yazmuradov (also, Yaranmurat Yazmuradov and Yaranmyrat Yazmyradov) is a lawyer and former Prosecutor General of Turkmenistan. He is currently serving an imprisonment for 30 years. Early life Yazmuradov was born in 1971 at Büzmeýin. He graduated from Turkmen State University's Faculty of Law in 1996, and in the meanwhile—from 1992 to 1996—served as a secretary of the Supreme Court Presidium for Civil Judges. Career Upon graduation, Yazmuradov was appointed as a Judge of a Military Court of the Ashgabat Military District. For the next ten years, he served in various roles ranging from an officer in the social services department to the head of local law enforcement to an officer in Ashgabat notary. In 2007, he was roped in as a judge of the Ashgabat City court. Having served for hardly a year, he was appointed as the chairman/Chief Judge of the Ahal Provincial Court. The Prosecutor General of Turkmenistan ( tk, Türkmenistanyň Baş Prokurory), also referred to as the Attorney General, is the chief prosecutor and attorney of Turkmenistan. The incumbent takes part in all civil and criminal matters in which the government has an interest. The prosecutor general reports directly to the President of Turkmenistan and leads the Office of the Prosecutor General of Turkmenistan, which is part of the Ministry of Justice. Büzmeýin, Turkmenistan
Büzmeýin is the name of both a borough ( tk, uly etrap), Büzmeýin District, and a neighborhood ( tk, ýaşaýyş toplumy) of Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan. Formerly a separate city in Ahal Province, in 2013 the city was incorporated into Ashgabat as part of a program that expanded the capital's area by about 15%. The municipality was founded as a "town of urban type" but granted the status of a city in 1963. Gurbanguly Mälikgulyýewiç Berdimuhamedow (born 29 June 1957), also known as Arkadag (Cyrillic: Аркадаг, "protector"), is a Turkmen politician who served as the second president of Turkmenistan from 2006 to 2022. A dentist by profession, Berdimuhamedow served in the government of president Saparmurat Niyazov as the minister of health in 1997 and as the vice president in 2001. He became acting president following Niyazov's death on 21 December 2006 and subsequently won the 2007 presidential election. He faced no meaningful opposition and won by an overwhelming margin with 89% of the vote. Chary Hojamuradov (also, Chary Khojamuradov and Chary Hodzhamyradov; tm, Çary Hojamyradow) is a lawyer and former Prosecutor General of Turkmenistan. Early life Hojamuradov was born in Baherden District of the Ahal Region in 1962. He graduated from the Law Faculty of Turkmen State University in 1984. Amanmyrat Hallyyev ( tk, Amanmyrat Hallyýew) is a lawyer and former Prosecutor General of Turkmenistan.
