Yannick Quesnel
Yannick Daniel Quesnel (born 24 October 1973) is a French retired footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Most of his professional career was spent in Portugal, notably playing in two Primeira Liga seasons with Alverca. He also represented Benfica for five months. Football career Born in Libourne, Aquitaine, Quesnel's early professional career in his country was highly unsuccessful, as he only managed to appear with FC Sochaux-Montbéliard and FC Girondins de Bordeaux's reserve teams over five seasons combined, eventually moving to Ligue 2 club AS Cannes. In 2000, he began an adventure in Portugal that would last five years, starting with second division's Associação Naval 1º de Maio and signing with F.C. Alverca in the following year. Libourne
Libourne (; oc, label= Gascon, Liborna ) is a commune in the Gironde department in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in southwestern France. It is a sub-prefecture of the department. The 2004 Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira was the 26th edition of the Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira, the annual Portuguese football season-opening match contested by the winners of the previous season's top league and cup competitions (or cup runner-up in case the league- and cup-winning club is the same). The match was contested between the 2003–04 Primeira Liga winners, Porto and the 2003–04 Taça de Portugal winners, Benfica. The Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira (; English: Cândido de Oliveira Super Cup, or simply Portuguese Super Cup) is an annual Portuguese football match played since 1979 between the winners of the Portuguese League (Primeira Liga) and Portuguese Cup (Taça de Portugal). When a team wins both competitions (thus achieving the double (''dobradinha'')), it plays again against the Cup runners-up. The UEFA Intertoto Cup (from la, Inter, 'between' + german: toto, 'betting pool'),Most precisely, from (football pool); cf. often abbreviated and more known in the German-speaking world as UI Cup and originally called the International Football Cup, was a summer football competition. The competition was discontinued after the 2008 tournament. Teams who originally would have entered the Intertoto Cup now directly enter the qualifying stages of the UEFA Europa League from this point. The tournament was founded in 1961–62, but was only taken over by UEFA in 1995. Initially, the tournament ended with a single champion, who received the Intertoto Cup. Joaquim Manuel Sampaio da Silva (born 13 November 1975), known as Quim (), is a Portuguese former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He appeared in 396 Primeira Liga matches during his professional career, over 12 seasons with Braga, six with Benfica and one with Aves, and won five major titles with the second club.
