Yanai (Payetan)
Yannai ( he, יניי or ינאי) was an important payyetan who lived in the late fifth-early sixth century in the Galilee in Israel (Byzantine-Palestina Syria). Sometimes referred to as the "father of piyyut," his poetry marks the beginning of the Classical Period of piyyut that ranged from the fifth-eighth centuries. He was the first poet of piyyut to sign his name in an acrostic, to use end-rhyme, and to wrote for weekly services (not just for the High Holidays and particular festivals). Michal Yannai (or Yanai, he, מיכל ינאי; born 18 June 1972) is an Israeli actress. Early and personal life Yannai was born and raised in Ramat Gan to a family of Jewish background. In 2003, Yanai married Israeli businessman Ofer Resles. They divorced in 2005. She remarried in March 2009, to Israeli businessman Ben Muskal. In November 2009 their daughter Alex was born, and in December 2010, a son named Yahel. They have another son together named Yuval. As of 2021, they reside in Athens, Greece. Career During the 1990s Yannai was a TV host and an actress on Arutz HaYeladim (the Israeli Children's Channel, "Arutz 6", ערוץ הילדים), where she was known as "The Children's Queen" (מלכת הילדים). Alexander Jannaeus
Alexander Jannaeus ( grc-gre, Ἀλέξανδρος Ἰανναῖος ; he, ''Yannaʾy''; born Jonathan ) was the second king of the Hasmonean dynasty, who ruled over an expanding kingdom of Judea from 103 to 76 BCE. A son of John Hyrcanus, he inherited the throne from his brother Aristobulus I, and married his brother's widow, Queen Salome Alexandra. From his conquests to expand the kingdom to a bloody civil war, Alexander's reign has been generalised as cruel and oppressive with never-ending conflict.
