Yaniv Perets
Yaniv Perets (born March 4, 2000) is a Canadian professional goaltender currently under contract with the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League (NHL). He previously played collegiate hockey for Quinnipiac University. Playing career Amateur During the 2018–19 season, Perets appeared in 36 games for the Boston Junior Bruins of the United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL), where he posted a 23–10–1 record, with a 2.48 goals-against-average (GAA), and a .929. save percentage. He helped lead the Bruins to the Dineen Cup as league champions and was named NCDC Goaltender of the Year. In October 2018, he committed to play college ice hockey for the Quinnipiac Bobcats during the 2020–21 season. During the 2019–20 season, he appeared in 37 games for the Penticton Vees of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL), where he posted a 25–8–1 record, with a 2.19 GAA, a .918 save percentage and five shutouts. Dollard-des-Ormeaux
Dollard-des-Ormeaux (; commonly referred to as D.D.O. or simply Dollard) is a predominantly English-speaking suburb of Montreal in southwestern Quebec, Canada. It is located on the Island of Montreal. The town was named after French martyr Adam Dollard des Ormeaux. The town was merged with the city of Montreal in 2002, and became part of the borough of Dollard-Des Ormeaux–Roxboro. When residents were later offered the option, they chose to leave the city of Montreal, and the town was reinstated as a separate entity in 2006. 2020–21 BCHL Season
The 2020–21 BCHL season is the 59th season of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL). Originally, eighteen teams from the Interior and Coastal Conferences were to play 54-game schedules, but due to delays caused by COVID-19 pandemic, sixteen teams will play 20-game schedules in five pods of three to four teams each. In normal seasons, the top teams from each conference would play for the Fred Page Cup, the BCHL Championship, in March, but no playoffs are to be held in 2021. In previous seasons, the BCHL playoff champion represented the league in the Doyle Cup, a best-of-seven series against the Alberta Junior Hockey League champion, to determine who represents the Pacific region in the Canadian Junior Hockey League's (CJHL) National Junior A Championship, the Centennial Cup, that would have been held in Penticton in 2021. List Of Division I AHCA All-American Teams
The Division I AHCA All-American Teams are an annual honor bestowed by the American Hockey Coaches Association to the college hockey players judged to be the top performers in their division. Each team is composed of at least one goaltender, two defensemen and three forwards on ice hockey programs. At least one all-star team has been named by the since the start of NCAA tournament play in 1947–48 after the conclusion of either the regular season or the conference tournaments. American Hockey Coaches Association
The American Hockey Coaches Association was formed in 1947 in Boston. The founding members coached college ice hockey but membership has grown to include coaches at every level of the sport from youth hockey to professional ice hockey, although the organization maintains a focus on the collegiate game. Hobey Baker Award
The Hobey Baker Award is an annual award given to the top National Collegiate Athletic Association men's ice hockey player. It has been awarded 41 times. It is named for Hall of Famer Hobey Baker, who played college hockey at Princeton University and died shortly after World War I. The original statue for the award was commissioned and awarded by the Decathlon Athletic Club (now defunct) in Bloomington, Minnesota. The model for the award trophy was Steve Christoff, who played for the University of Minnesota and in the National Hockey League. The ''New Haven Register'' is a daily newspaper published in New Haven, Connecticut. It is owned by Hearst Communications. The Register's main office is located at 100 Gando Drive in New Haven.
