Jean-Édouard Dargent, known as Yan' Dargent and in his later years Yann Dargent, was born in Saint-Servais, Finistère, Saint-Servais on 15 October 1824 and died in Paris on 19 November 1899. He was a French painter and illustrator. Most of his paintings depicted Brittany. Biography Édouard Yan' Dargent was born on the 15 October 1824 at Saint-Servais, Finistère, Saint-Servais situated between Landerneau and Landivisiau. Jaber Saeed Salem (born Yani Marchokov, 3 January 1975) is a Qatari weightlifter who competed in the Men's 105+ kg weight class at the 2000 Summer Olympics and finished fourth with a 460 kg total (205 kg and 255 kg). He was born in Bulgaria. One of eight Bulgarian weightlifters recruited by the Qatar Olympic Committee for $1,000,000, Jaber became a Qatari citizen to represent the country in the 2000 Olympics. His old name, Yani Marchokov, was left behind in the process. General Ahmad Yani (19 June 1922 – 1 October 1965) was the Commander of the Indonesian Army, and was killed by members of the 30 September Movement during an attempt to kidnap him from his house. Early life Ahmad Yani was born in Jenar, Purworejo, Dutch East Indies on 19 June 1922 to the Wongsoredjo family, a family that worked at a sugar factory run by a Dutch owner. In 1927, Yani moved with his family to Batavia, where his father now worked for a Dutch General. At Batavia, Yani worked his way through primary and secondary education. In 1940, Yani left high school to undergo compulsory military service in the colonial government's Army of the Dutch East Indies, where he initially trained as a navy seaman. Wang Yani (; 1975) is a Chinese artist who began painting at the age of two-and-a-half.
