Yang Yiming (; born 25 May 1995) is a Chinese footballer currently playing as a centre-back or forward for Chengdu Rongcheng. College career In 2013, Yang was a player at Monroe Community College, where he scored 9 goals in 16 matches. Club career Yang Yiming would make his debut for Shijiazhuang Ever Bright (now known as Cangzhou Mighty Lions), initially as a forward on 29 June 2016 in a Chinese FA Cup game against Hebei China Fortune FC that ended in a 3–2 defeat. He would go on to score his first goal for the club on 28 October 2018 in a league game against Yanbian FC that ended in a 3–0 victory. Yang (; ) is the transcription of a Chinese family name. It is the sixth most common surname in Mainland China. It is the 16th surname on the ''Hundred Family Surnames'' text. China League One
The Chinese Football Association China League (), also known as China League One or Chinese Jia League (中甲联赛), is the second level of professional football in China. Above League One is the Chinese Super League. Prior to the formation of the Chinese Super League, Jia League was known as ''Jia B League''. The then top two levels of Chinese football league were known as ''Jia A League'' and ''Jia B League'' respectively. ''Jia A'' was rebranded as CSL and ''Jia B'' was rebranded as the current Jia League in 2004. Below the Jia League is the Yi League, following the Chinese Heavenly Stems naming convention of numbers.
