Yang Xin (art Historian)
Yang Xin (; 1940 – 31 January 2020) was a Chinese art historian and curator who served as Vice Director of the Palace Museum in Beijing from 1987 to 2000. He edited the 60-volume ''The Palace Museum‘s Essential Collections'' as well as its 10-volume English edition (Commercial Press, 2015), and co-authored ''Three Thousand Years of Chinese Painting'' (Yale University Press, 2002). Biography Yang was born in 1940 in Xiangyin County, Hunan, Republic of China. After graduating from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts High School in 1960, he entered the first class of the Art History Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, where he studied under the renowned scholars and Qigong. He began working at the Palace Museum in Beijing in 1965. After the turmoil of the Cultural Revolution, Yang became a researcher and served as the main assistant and disciple of Xu Bangda in the 1970s and 1980s. Yang Xin (politician)
Yang Xin (; born May 1950) is a former Chinese politician from Heilongjiang Province. He was the Party Secretary and Mayor of Qiqihar, and prior to that Mayor of Daqing. In September 2014 Yang was investigated by the Communist Party's anti-corruption body. Early life and education Yang Xin was born and raised in Suihua, Heilongjiang. He graduated from Central Party School of the Chinese Communist Party and Harbin Normal University, majoring in economic management. Career Yang entered the workforce in November 1968 and joined the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in September 1969. Beginning in 1968, Yang served in several posts in Suihua County, including director of organization department. Yang Xin (footballer)
Yang Xin (; ; born 25 January 1994) is a Chinese footballer who currently plays for Jiangxi Liansheng in the China League One. Club career Yang Xin started to play organized football at the age of seven. He was scouted by Zhao Dayu in 2004 and moved to Guangzhou Yida football school. He then joined Chinese Super League side Guangzhou Evergrande in 2013 and was promoted to the club's first team in 2014, which made him the only player from Jiangxi in the 2014 Chinese Super League. Yang made his senior debut on 16 February 2014 against Guizhou Renhe in a 1–0 defeat in the 2014 Chinese FA Super Cup. Yang was demoted to the reserve squad in the 2016 season.
