Yanbian Funde F.C.
Yanbian Funde F.C. () was a Chinese football club. The team was based in Yanji, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin province where their home stadium is the Yanji Nationwide Fitness Centre Stadium that has a seating capacity of 30,000. The club's predecessor was originally called Jilin Football Team and they achieved one top tier domestic league title before 1994, when the club was reorganized to become a completely professional football unit. At the end of the 2000 league campaign, the club was relegated from the top tier of Chinese football, however, the club faced financial difficulties and sold the first team as well as the franchise to Zhejiang Green Town. After the sale, the club assembled the reserve team and joined the third tier before they eventually gained promotion to the second tier in 2004, and first tier in 2015. The Yanji Nationwide Fitness Centre Stadium (Simplified Chinese: 延吉市全民健身中心体育场), also known as Yanji New Stadium (Simplified Chinese: 延吉新体育场) or Yanji People's Stadium (Simplified Chinese: 延吉人民体育场), is a multi-purpose stadium in Yanji, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin, China. It is currently used mostly for association football matches. The stadium holds 30,000 people, and is the home stadium of Yanbian Funde F.C. Gao , or Gawgaw/Kawkaw, is a city in Mali and the capital of the Gao Region. The city is located on the River Niger, east-southeast of Timbuktu on the left bank at the junction with the Tilemsi valley. For much of its history Gao was an important commercial centre involved in the trans-Saharan trade. In the 9th century external Arabic writers described Gao as an important regional power, and by the end of the 10th century, the local ruler was said to be a Muslim. Gao Zhongxun (; ; born 4 January 1965) is a Chinese former international football midfielder of Korean descent who spent the majority of his career with Jilin F.C. as well as representing China in the 1992 Asian Cup. Playing career Gao Zhongxun started his football career with his local football club Jilin F.C. and was considered a promising enough youngster to be called up to the Chinese U-20 squad that took part in the 1985 FIFA World Youth Championship where he played in all four games as China were knocked-out in the quarter-finals. Shaanxi Wuzhou Football Club () was a Chinese professional football club based in Xi'an, Shaanxi which last played in the China League One division.
