Yalta European Strategy
Yalta European Strategy (YES; Ukrainian language, Ukrainian: ''Ялтинська європейська стратегія'') is an international annual conference of leaders from politics, business, mass media, civil society and the expert community that has been held in Ukraine since 2004. The forum gathers more than 350 participans from over 50 countries around the world. History YES Summits have taken place annually since 2004. The summit was attended by Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Bill Clinton, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Condoleezza Rice, Boris Johnson, Tony Blair, Aleksander Kwaśniewski, Alexander Kwasniewski, Carl Bildt, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, Shimon Peres, Richard Branson, Anders Åslund, Timothy D. Snyder, Timothy Snyder, Fareed Zakaria, Francis Fukuyama, Jimmy Wales and many others. Victor Mykhailovych Pinchuk ( uk, Віктор Михайлович Пінчук, ''Viktor Mykhailovych Pinchuk''; born 14 December 1960) is a Ukrainian businessman and oligarch. As of January 2016, ''Forbes'' ranked him as 1,250th on the list of wealthiest people in the world, with a fortune of US$1.44 billion. Pinchuk is the founder of EastOne Group LLC, an international investing, project funding and financial advisory company based in London, and of Interpipe Group, one of Ukraine's leading pipe, wheel and steel producers. Pinchuk is the owner of four TV channels and a popular tabloid, ''Fakty i Kommentarii''. He has been a member of the Ukrainian parliament, the Verkhovna Rada, for two consecutive terms from 1998 to 2006. He is married to Olena Pinchuk, the daughter of former Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma.
