Akiko Yajima
is a Japanese voice actress from Kashiwazaki, Niigata. Her best-known role is as the title character Shinnosuke Nohara in the long-running anime series '' Crayon Shin-chan''. She also voices Mipple in the original ''Futari wa Pretty Cure'', Sally Yoshinaga in ''The Brave Express Might Gaine'', Paffy Pafuricia in ''Haō Taikei Ryū Knight'', Relena Peacecraft in ''Mobile Suit Gundam Wing'', Ayumi Himekawa in ''Glass Mask'', Riku and Diva in ''Blood+'', Longlong in '' Shizuku-chan'' and Kohaku in ''Inuyasha''. Yajima Kajiko
was the founder of the Women's Reform Society and president of Japan's Woman's Christian Temperance Union. An educator, pacifist, and Christian activist, she vigorously advanced the cause for the education of women in Japan. Her name was usually seen as Kaji Yajima in the American press of her day. Yajima worked with Toyoju Sasaki, the secretary of Japan's WCTU. Together they attempted to advocate the reform of feudalistic customs which subjugated Japan to the West and women to men. Yajima in particular advocated for temperance due to her brief marriage to an alcoholic. Both worked towards the elimination of prostitution, as well as the elimination of geisha culture and concubinage. Late in life, Yajima attended international meetings on peace and temperance, and met with American suffragists. Maimi Yajima
is a Japanese singer and actress. She was a member and the leader of Cute, a girl idol group within Hello! Project. Career Yajima first joined Hello! Project in 2002 as one of the fifteen children chosen from the Hello! Project Kids auditions after performing "Momoiro Kataomoi" by Aya Matsuura. She debuted the same year in the movie ''Koinu Dan no Monogatari'', taking on one of the main roles as an antagonist. The following year, she joined the first of the kids' groups, ZYX, which released two singles. In 2004, Berryz Kobo was formed, with the intention of rotating the girls throughout the unit. Yajima did not make the original pick, and the idea was eventually dropped. The remaining girls eventually ended up forming Cute in 2005. is a Japanese football player who plays for Shimizu S-Pulse in the J2 League. He has previously played for both Urawa Red Diamonds and Fagiano Okayama. His regular playing position is midfielder.
