Yahaan Ke Hum Sikander
''Yahaan'' () is a 2005 Indian Hindi war drama, romance film jointly produced by Sahara One Motion Pictures and Red Ice Films with Shoojit Sircar as the director in his directorial debut. The film stars Jimmy Sheirgill, Minissha Lamba (in her film debut) and Yashpal Sharma in lead roles and had its theatrical release on 29 July 2005. ''Yahaan'' was also screened at the 7th Ocean's Cinefan Film Festival where it was awarded with the Special Jury Prize. Plot Kashmir is in turmoil because of terrorists trying to take over the land and the Indian army trying to find and eliminate them. Shoojit Sircar
Shoojit Sircar (born ) is an Indian filmmaker, director and producer known for his work in Hindi films. He has received several awards, including two National Film Awards and a Filmfare Award from five nominations. Sircar made his directorial debut with the romantic war drama ''Yahaan'' (2005). He rose to prominence in Hindi cinema with the critically and commercially successful romantic comedy ''Vicky Donor'' (2012) for which he received the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. CINEFAN Film Festival
Osian's-Cinefan is one of Asia's leading film-festival devoted to Asian and Arab cinema, and is part of ''Osian's Film House Division''. The festival celebrated its 10th anniversary in July 2008. After a two-year break, the 12th staging of the festival took place in July 2012. History Cinefan began in 1999 as an outgrowth of '' Cinemaya'', a quarterly Asian cinema magazine published in New Delhi since 1988. The festival was launched with 27 films presented by the Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema (NETPAC) and supported by the government of Delhi.
