Yadollah Royaee
Yadollah Royaee ( fa, یدالله رؤیایی; 7 May 1932 – 12 September 2022) was an Iranian poet of the New Wave or the Poem of Imagination in Iranian Modern Literature. Life and career Royaee was born in Damqan, Semnan Province, Iran on 7 May 1932. He was a graduate of college of law and human sciences and he had worked for the state television for several years. His poetry renewed debate about the relative value of form and context in modern Persian poetry. Yadollah was careful to produce unity in his poems. His sea songs reflect French symbolism. He moved to exotic marine landscape and creates glorious lyrical images, focusing mostly on symbols rather than metaphors in image building. Damqan
Damghan ( fa, دامغان, translit=Dāmghān) is the capital of Damghan County, Semnan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 57,331, in 15,849 families. It is situated east of Tehran on the high-road to Mashad, at an elevation of . It is one of the oldest cities on the Iranian plateau, stretching back 7,000 years, and boasts many sites of historic interest. The oldest of these is Tappeh Hessar, lying to the southeast of the city, which holds the ruins of a castle dating from the Sasanian Empire. The Tarikhaneh is one of the oldest mosques in Iran, built as a fire temple during the Sassanid dynasty, it was converted into a mosque after the advent of Islam. Persian Poetry
Persian literature ( fa, ادبیات فارسی, Adabiyâte fârsi, ) comprises oral compositions and written texts in the Persian language and is one of the world's oldest literatures. It spans over two-and-a-half millennia. Its sources have been within Greater Iran including present-day Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, the Caucasus, and Turkey, regions of Central Asia (such as Tajikistan) and South Asia where the Persian language has historically been either the native or official language. For example, Rumi, one of the best-loved Persian poets, born in Balkh (in modern-day Afghanistan) or Wakhsh (in modern-day Tajikistan), wrote in Persian and lived in Konya (in modern-day Turkey), at that time the capital of the Seljuks in Anatolia. Persian Mysticism
Persian mysticism, or the Persian love tradition, is a traditional interpretation of existence, life and love, reliant upon revelatory and heart-felt principles in reasoning. Though partially sourced from the mystical Zoroastrian traditions of the Persian Empire, in its contemporary practical aspects it is now synonymous with Sufism in contemporary Iran. Thought Persian mystical thought has been analysed critically by Abdolhossein Zarrinkoub, Abdolkarim Soroush, and Dariush Shayegan.
