Yadollah Mohebbi
Yadollah "Shiravan" Mohebbi ( fa, یدالله محبی; born 9 December 1993) is an Iranian freestyle wrestler. He is a three-time gold medalist at the Asian Wrestling Championships in the men's 125 kg event, in 2017, 2019 and 2022. Career He won the gold medal in the men's 125kg at the 2017 Asian Wrestling Championships held in New Delhi, India. He competed in the men's 125kg event at the 2017 World Wrestling Championships held in Paris, France. He won one of the bronze medals in the his event at the 2017 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games held in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. In 2019, he competed in the men's 125kg event at the World Wrestling Championships held in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan without winning a medal. He won his first match against Dorjkhandyn Khüderbulga of Mongolia and also his next match against Nick Gwiazdowski of the United States but he was then eliminated from the competition by Oleksandr Khotsianivskyi of Ukraine. 2019 World Wrestling Championships – Men's Freestyle 125 Kg
The men's freestyle 125 kilograms is a competition featured at the 2019 World Wrestling Championships, and was held in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan on 20 and 21 September. This freestyle wrestling competition consists of a single-elimination tournament, with a repechage used to determine the winner of two bronze medals. The two finalists face off for gold and silver medals. Each wrestler who loses to one of the two finalists moves into the repechage, culminating in a pair of bronze medal matches featuring the semifinal losers each facing the remaining repechage opponent from their half of the bracket. Mohammad Hassan "Homa" Mohebbi ( fa, محمد حسن محبی, born 6 September 1956) is an Iranian light heavyweight freestyle wrestler from Kermanshah. He is often confused with his twin brother Mohammad Hossein Mohebbi, who competed alongside, but in lighter categories (74 or 82 kg). He won one silver and one bronze medal at the World Championships (The silver medal was stripped off due to unsportive behaviour). Like many of his fellow Iranian wrestlers in 1980s, his sport career has suffered by political influences of the Iranian Sport Organization at that time. Iran boycotted the Olympic Games' 1980 and 1984, and did not participate at the Wrestling World Championships 1979, 1983, 1986 and 1987. Taha Akgül (born 22 November 1990 in Sivas, Turkey) is an Olympic, World, and European champion Turkish freestyle wrestler competing in the 125 kg division. He is a 3 time world (2014, 2015, 2022) and 10 time European (2012-2015, 2017-2019, 2021-2023) champion. He won the gold medal in the 2016 Summer Olympics and the bronze medal in the 2020 Summer Olympics at 125 kg.
