''Y Pris'' (English: ''The Price'') is a Welsh television crime drama, produced by Fiction Factory for Welsh public service television station S4C. The series, described in its tagline as "''The Sopranos'' by the seaside", is set in Carmarthenshire and follows the "tangled lives of a group of gangsters who hide their illicit dealings". The series was written and created by Tim Price. The first series comprises thirteen episodes. It was filmed in March and April 2007. The second series, comprising eight episodes, was commissioned by S4C in 2008 and filmed later the same year for broadcast in 2009. The series is, together with ''Caerdydd'', ''Cowbois ac Injans'', and ''Con Passionate'', part of S4C's drama editor Angharad Jones' drive to reach a younger audience for the station. The series' theme was written and recorded by Alabama 3 lead singer Rob Love. All twenty-one episodes are available to stream on S4C's website. Cowbois ac Injans ''(Cowboys and Engines)'' is a Welsh language television drama written by brother and sister Jon Tregenna and Catherine Tregenna which was broadcast on S4C. The series was made by Teledu Opus, which later became Rondo Productions. The title was a pun on the phrase "Cowboys and "Injuns"; "injun", a mis-pronunciation of "Indian" (as in " American Indian") sounds similar to "injan", Welsh for "engine". Plot The comedy drama is set in a used car showroom, Garej Wheelers, somewhere in the ''Wild West'' of Wales. Things don't always go according to plan. It's a world of love, lies and second-hand cars. The series also deals in the fading dreams of the staff, for as Billy Wheeler said, 'No ever grows up wanting to be a car salesman.' Huw Ceredig Jones (22 June 1942 – 16 August 2011) was a Welsh actor, best known for portraying Reg Harries in the Welsh-language soap opera ''Pobol y Cwm''.
