YTV Jr.
YTV Jr. (formerly known as The Treehouse) was a block on YTV for preschoolers that was launched in 1994 and aired weekdays until 2002. History When YTV launched, it had a block of programs for preschoolers with a focus on Canadian content. In 1991, YTV began airing host segments during the block featuring their PJs (Program Jockeys) and the Grogs (replaced by The Fuzzpaws in 1994). In 1994, YTV's preschool block received the name The Treehouse. While most of YTV's hosted blocks had one or two hosts, The Treehouse was hosted by one or two of three PJs, Katie, Krista, and/or Todd, and one of The Fuzzpaws. As the name suggests, it was set in a tree house. On Fridays, PJ Katie would act out stories with clay animals; these segments were eventually spun off into the series '' PJ Katie's Farm''. Following the launch of Treehouse TV in 1997, The Treehouse received new bumpers and a new set. YTV relaunched The Treehouse on September 7, 1998 as YTV Jr. The Treehouse host segments wer ...

Sky Dancers
Sky Dancers is the name of a line of toys and an animated show spin-off that were popular in the mid-1990s. The toys were constructed of a pull-string base and a doll with foam wings. When the doll was inserted into the base and the string pulled, the doll would launch into the air, spinning its wings like a propeller as it flew. The flight was like that of a helicopter. Toys Initially Galoob launched the toys during the 1994 winter holiday season, and they proved to be successful. The toys were re-released in 2005 with an adapted design, manufactured by Play Along Toys. Galoob released a similar toyline aimed at boys called ''Dragon Flyz''. Recall While the foam wings on the dolls provided a limited amount of safety, nonetheless, there were over 100 injuries reported, ranging from temporary blindness to facial lacerations requiring stitches. Galoob, the manufacturer of the toys, recalled them in June 2000 after less than six years on the market. Animated series In 1996 ...

The national version was presented by Nancy Terrell. ''Romper Room'' was also franchised internationally at various times in Canada, the United Kingdom, Japan, Finland, New Zealand, Puerto Rico and Australia. Founding American television franchises and syndications ''Romper Room'' was a rare case of a series being both franchised and syndicated, and it was also revealed that local affiliates—Los Angeles and New York being prime examples—would produce their own versions of the show instead of airing the national telecast.
