XHINFO-FM
XHINFO-FM ( 105.3 FM) is a radio station in Mexico City. XHINFO-FM is owned by XEFAJ, S.A. de C.V., a company controlled by Eduardo Henkel Rojas, and presently is operated by Salvador Pérez Habib with a grupera format known as La Nueva Radio. Established in the early 1960s as an AM station on 1560 kHz, today's XHINFO has had a turbulent history. In the 2000s, an agreement by longtime owner Grupo Radio Centro to spin the station off to José Gutiérrez Vivó, host of the ''Monitor'' newscast, ended in a split and years of lawsuits that dragged the station off the air. However, a sale to Henkel, who had been a creditor, led to an interim operation through most of the 2010s. XEINFO-AM won the only slot for a commercial Mexico City station to migrate to FM in 2017 and began FM broadcasting the next year under an agreement with a company that programmed the station as "Aire Libre" with an indie and eclectic music format. XEEST-AM
XEEST-AM is a radio station on 1440 AM in Mexico City. The station airs Christian programming under the name "Ondas de Vida". History XELZ-AM received its first concession on December 1, 1942, to María Cardona de Zetina. For most of its history under this callsign, it broadcast ranchera music and was known as "Radio LZ". It was sold to Radio Variedades, S.A. in 1961, and became a part of Grupo Radio Centro. In the late 1970s, the tropical format ''Radio AI'' changed from 1320 AM to 1440. By the 1980s, it had adopted the XEEST-AM callsign and was known as "Estudiantes AM", targeting a youth audience with pop in Spanish. This format evolved into "Radio 14-40" in the mid-80s with Spanish-language rock joining the musical mix. XHDL-FM is a radio station on 98.5 FM in Mexico City. XHDL is owned by ''El Heraldo de México'' and operates as a news/talk station known as El Heraldo Radio. History 98.5 FM began as XELA-FM in 1962, owned by Radio Metropolitana, S.A., the concessionaire of XELA-AM 830. Until 1984, it was an FM simulcast of 830 AM; when it broke away, it became "Stereo Classics", English-language music of the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. XHXV-FM 88.9/XEXV-AM 1300 is a combo radio station based in León, Guanajuato, with FM transmitter in León, AM transmitter in Arroyo Seco, and listed location of Tierra Blanca. It is owned by Grupo Radiorama. History XEXV received its concession on May 12, 1972.
