XHQY-FM is a radio station in Toluca, State of Mexico. Broadcasting on 103.7 FM, carries the La Bestia format of its owner, Grupo Audiorama. and presently is operated by Salvador Pérez Habib. History XEQY received its concession on January 11, 1965. It operated on 1360 kHz with 500 watts. In the early 2000s, it moved to 1200. The station was previously owned by Grupo ACIR Grupo ACIR is a Mexican media company specializing in the operation of radio stations. It was established in 1965. ACIR is an acronym for ''Asociación de Concesionarios Independientes de Radio'' (Association of Independent Radio Concessionaires). ..., which programmed it with a news format as "QY Noticias", and a group that programmed it with a variety format known as Atmósfera. In 2015, control passed to Radiorama, which instituted its Bestia Grupera format. XHINFO-FM
XHINFO-FM ( 105.3 FM) is a radio station in Mexico City. XHINFO-FM is owned by XEFAJ, S.A. de C.V., a company controlled by Eduardo Henkel Rojas, and presently is operated by Salvador Pérez Habib with a grupera format known as La Nueva Radio. Established in the early 1960s as an AM station on 1560 kHz, today's XHINFO has had a turbulent history. In the 2000s, an agreement by longtime owner Grupo Radio Centro to spin the station off to José Gutiérrez Vivó, host of the ''Monitor'' newscast, ended in a split and years of lawsuits that dragged the station off the air. However, a sale to Henkel, who had been a creditor, led to an interim operation through most of the 2010s. XEINFO-AM won the only slot for a commercial Mexico City station to migrate to FM in 2017 and began FM broadcasting the next year under an agreement with a company that programmed the station as "Aire Libre" with an indie and eclectic music format. Grupo Radiorama
Grupo Radiorama is the largest owner and operator of radio stations in Mexico. Founded in 1970, the company operated nearly 400 radio stations in 2014. History Radiorama was founded on December 9, 1970, by Javier Pérez de Anda and Adrián Pereda López. The two founders had previous experience at other radio groups, such as Organización Radio Centro and Radiópolis. Radiorama started with 7 stations, but grew to 150 by 1985. Grupo ACIR is a Mexican media company specializing in the operation of radio stations. It was established in 1965. ACIR is an acronym for ''Asociación de Concesionarios Independientes de Radio'' (Association of Independent Radio Concessionaires). History Grupo ACIR was founded on June 8, 1965, when Francisco Ibarra bought the XEDQ-AM (Radio Alegría) station in San Andrés Tuxtla, Veracruz. During the next two years, three new radio stations were integrated: XEOM-AM in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, XEMM-AM in Morelia, Michoacán, XEMIA-AM in Guadalajara, Jalisco; and three stations of amplitude modulation in the Mexico City: XEL-AM Radio Capital, XEFR-AM Radio Felicidad and XEVOZ-AM Radio Voz.
