Xu Yong (historian)

Some of Xu's work is controversial. He has argued in research papers and symposiums that the issue of sovereignty over Okinawa is unsettled. Peking University

Japan-China Joint History Research Committee
is a scholarly study group created by the governments of Japan and China. It is made up of prominent historians from both countries.Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) retrieved 2013-5-16. An academy (Attic Greek: Ἀκαδήμεια; Koine Greek Ἀκαδημία) is an institution of secondary or tertiary higher learning (and generally also research or honorary membership). The name traces back to Plato's school of philosophy, founded approximately 385 BC at Akademia, a sanctuary of Athena, the goddess of wisdom and skill, north of Athens, Greece.
