Xiang Xiang ( zh, c=香香, p=Xiāng Xiāng; born June 14, 1984) is a Chinese singer. She was reportedly the most popular internet celebrity in China in 2005. Her birth name is Wang Jinmei (). She is perhaps most famous for her song " Song of Pig" (), the title track of her first solo album. Xiang Xiang is also known for remaking the song, ''Mice Love Rice "Mice Love Rice" ( zh, s=老鼠爱大米, t=老鼠愛大米, p=Lǎoshǔ Ài Dàmǐ) is a 2004 Chinese pop song written by a then unknown music teacher Yang Chengang which gained popularity across Asia via the Internet after being posted online. Xiang Xiang (giant Panda, 2001–2007)
Xiang Xiang (; August 25, 2001 – February 19, 2007) was the first giant panda to be released into the wild after being bred and raised in captivity. Born at the Wolong Giant Panda Research Center in the Sichuan Province, Xiang Xiang endured a three-year training regimen intended to equip him with the skills necessary to survive in the wild. Fitted with a radio-collar upon his release in April 2006, the five-year-old male was tracked each month to check his movements and feeding habits.
