Xiamen Blue Lions
Xiamen Blue Lions Football Club () is a defunct Chinese football club, which was located in Xiamen, Fujian. It was founded in the 1996 league season and their nickname was the "Blue Lions" while they played in the Xiamen Stadium. Throughout their history they would twice win promotion to the top tier of Chinese football and also play in the Chinese Super League. When the club was relegated at the end of 2007 league season they disbanded. History On February 23, 1996 Xiamen FC was created to take part in the recently fully professionalised Chinese football league system where they started in the third division. At the beginning of the 1998 league season the club would take over second tier football club Foshan Fosti F.C. and take their position within the division. With their new manager Chi Shangbin coming in and the investment from Lai Changxing the club would start to flourish and go on to win the second tier title at the end of the 1999 league season. Changchun Yatai
Changchun Yatai Football Club () is a professional Chinese football club that currently participates in the Chinese Super League under licence from the Chinese Football Association (CFA). The team is based in Changchun, Jilin and their home stadium is the Changchun Stadium that has a seating capacity of 38,500. The club's founder and main investor is the private Chinese conglomerate Jilin Yatai Group. The club was formed on 6 June 1996 before making their debut in the third tier of China's football league pyramid in the 1997 league season. In 2000 they bought a position into the second division after they merged with Huizhou PLA Saonon. In 2001 they finished runners-up within their division, however they were denied promotion after they were embroiled in a match-fixing scandal. The club would reform and re-apply for a CFA playing license before they eventually gained promotion to China's top flight at the end of the 2005 league campaign. Chinese League One
The Chinese Football Association China League (), also known as China League One or Chinese Jia League (中甲联赛), is the second level of professional football in China. Above League One is the Chinese Super League. Prior to the formation of the Chinese Super League, Jia League was known as ''Jia B League''. The then top two levels of Chinese football league were known as ''Jia A League'' and ''Jia B League'' respectively. ''Jia A'' was rebranded as CSL and ''Jia B'' was rebranded as the current Jia League in 2004. Below the Jia League is the Yi League, following the Chinese Heavenly Stems naming convention of numbers. It is currently made up of 18 teams, playing each other home and away once. Gao Hongbo
Gao Hongbo (; born January 25, 1966 in Beijing) is a retired Chinese football striker and head coach of China League One side Beijing Enterprises. He previously managed the China national football team from 2009 to 2011, and in 2016. Appointed in May 2009, Gao became the youngest man to take the helm in 30 years. Gao was a big name in his professional life as a footballer. Nicknamed Albert Einstein on the pitch, he was a prolific striker who was famous for his agility in the box and fine ability in finishing.
