Xhezair Shaqiri
Xhezair Shaqiri (born 15 May 1965), also known as Commander Hoxha, is a Macedonian politician of Albanian descent and a former member of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) and National Liberation Army (NLA). In 1998 he joined the KLA as a soldier and later became one of the first NLA commanders. During his participation in the Kosovo War, he first participated in the Battle of Glođane, in which the Yugoslav Army was defeated and had to retreat. He later was put into a unit under the command of Agim Ramadani with who he fought the Yugoslav Army during the Koshare ambush. After the Kosovo War, He joined the NLA and was active in the Karadak region mainly in the villages of Tanuševci and Lipkovo and Aračinovo. He was the direct perpetrator of the murder of a Macedonian policeman in the shopping center ''Chairchanka'' in Skopje. Tanuševci ( mk, Танушевци, sq, Tanushë) is a village in the municipality of Čučer-Sandevo, Republic of North Macedonia. Name The name comes from the Albanian name Tanush. Brest Attack
The Brest attack was an attack by the National Liberation Army (NLA), near the village of Brest on 10 March 2001 during the insurgency in Macedonia. the NLA ambushed a Macedonian convoy, after they were defeated and forced to withdraw by KFOR troops in the village of Tanuševci. Zoran Zaev ( mk, Зоран Заев, ; born 8 October 1974) is a Macedonian economist and politician who served as prime minister of North Macedonia from May 2017 to January 2020, and again from August 2020 to January 2022. Prior to entering politics, he ran a private business in his hometown of Strumica. In the period 2003–2005, he was a Member of the Parliament of Macedonia, and then he ran for mayor of Strumica Municipality, a position he held for three terms, between 2005 and 2016. Camp Bondsteel
Camp Bondsteel is the operation headquarters of the Kosovo Force (KFOR) in Kosovo. It is located near Ferizaj in eastern Kosovo. It is the Regional Command-East headed by the United States Army (U.S. Army) and it is supported by troops from Greece, Italy, Finland, Hungary, Poland, Slovenia, Switzerland and Turkey. The base is named after U.S. Army Staff Sergeant James L. Bondsteel, who is a Medal of Honor recipient. The camp occupies of land. During the construction of the base, two hills were flattened and the valley between them was filled. In August 1999, 52 helipads were constructed on the facility's west perimeter to handle helicopter aviation. Aračinovo ( mk, Арачиново , sq, Haraçinë) is a village and seat of the municipality of Aračinovo, North Macedonia. History During the 2001 Macedonia conflict, it was occupied by ethnic Albanian insurgents.
