Xenia Georgiou
Xenia Georgiou ( el, Ξένια Γεωργίου; born 24 October 1988) is a Cypriot footballer who plays as a centre back for First Division club Lefkothea Latsion. She has been a member of the Cyprus women's national team. Club career Georgiou started playing in 2004. Her first club was AEK Kokkinochorion. In 2009, she joined Lefkothea Latsion. On 25 September 2016, she moved to AC Omonia. One year later, she rejoined Lefkothea Latsion. Cypriot First Division (women)
The Cypriot First Division is the top division of women's football in Cyprus. It has been running since its establishment by the Cyprus Football Association (C.F.A) and its originator Tassos Katsikidis (vice-president of the board) during the 1998–99 season. The winning team of the league qualifies for a spot in the UEFA Women's Champions League. Although a Cypriot team entered the Champions League every year from 2003–04 onwards, in 2008–09 Apollon Limassol became the first team to win a point in those competitions. Latvia Women's National Football Team
The Latvia women's national football team ( lv, Latvijas sieviešu futbola izlase) is governed by the Latvian Football Federation (LFF). It played its first international match in August 1993 against Sweden. After participating in the UEFA Women's Euro 1995 qualifying, Latvia withdrew from all qualification until the qualification for the European Championships in 2009. Latvia's record in international qualification games is poor. In their competitive games, Latvia lost their first two games, against Israel and Bosnia and Herzegovina by three goals, before losing by one goal to Armenia.
