Xavier Jayakumar s/o Arulanandam ( ta, சேவியர் ஜெயக்குமார், Cēviyar Jeyakkumār; born 1953) is a Malaysian politician who served as Minister of Water, Land and Natural Resources in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration under former prime minister Mahathir Mohamad from July 2018, to the collapse of the PH administration in February 2020, and Member of Parliament (MP) for Kuala Langat from May 2018 to November 2022. He was also Selangor State Executive Councillor (EXCO) from March 2008 to May 2013, and member of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Seri Andalas from March 2008 to May 2018. The Malay language has a complex system of styles, titles and honorifics which are used extensively in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the southern Philippines. The National Front ( ms, Barisan Nasional; abbrev: BN) is a political coalition of Malaysia that was founded in 1973 as a coalition of centre-right and right-wing political parties. The National Alliance ( ms, Perikatan Nasional; abbrev: PN) is a political coalition composed of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU), Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) and Parti Gerakan Rakyat Malaysia (GERAKAN). This coalition was preceded by the Malaysian Party Alliance Association, also known as the ''Persatuan Perikatan Parti Malaysia (PPPM)''. The People's Justice Party ( ms, Parti Keadilan Rakyat , often known simply as KEADILAN or PKR) is a reformist political party in Malaysia, formed in 2003 by a merger of the National Justice Party and the older Malaysian People's Party.
