X Games Minneapolis 2017
X Games Minneapolis 2017 is an Extreme sport, action sporting event that took place July 13–16, 2017, at U.S. Bank Stadium in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota. This X Games, Summer X Games was the first held in the Midwest and the first of two X Games events to be held in the state of Minnesota with another planned for the following summer in 2018. The games were televised by ESPN and American Broadcasting Company, ABC. Bids After the three-year agreement with Circuit of the Americas, ESPN opened up a bid process to any US city that meet the event requirements to host the 2017 and 2018 Summer X Games. Joe Louis Arena was an arena in Downtown Detroit. Completed in 1979 at a cost of US$57 million as a replacement for Olympia Stadium, it sat adjacent to TCF Center, Cobo Center on the bank of the Detroit River and was accessible by the Joe Louis Arena station on the Detroit People Mover. Letícia Bufoni e Silva (born April 13, 1993) is a Brazilian-American professional street skateboarder. She is a six-time X Games gold medalist. Early life Bufoni was born in São Paulo. Samarria Brevard (born September 22, 1993) is a goofy-footed American skateboarder and musician. Skateboarding career Growing up in Riverside, California, Brevard started skating at the age of 13, spending time with brothers and cousins who skated. is a regular-footed Japanese professional street skateboarder. Nishimura represented Japan in the women's street event at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
