X Games XVI was an action sporting event which took place from July 29 – August 1, 2010 in Los Angeles, California at the Staples Center, L.A. Live and the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The games featured the sports of Motocross, skateboarding, BMX, and rallying. Results Motocross *Competition decided by fan text message voting. Skateboarding *Finalists determined by a best-video contest. Cameron Sinclair (born 12 April 1984) is an Australian freestyle motocross rider associated with the Metal mulisha group. Motocross career Sinclair competed for the LG World Championship in 2008. He was injured while practicing for a double backflip in June 2008 and he was unable to compete until September 2008. First double backflip in a Freestyle Run With Nick Swain Sinclair landed the first double backflips in a freestyle motorcross run at the third event of the Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour 2009. It was a June 2009 event in Fort Worth, Texas. Sinclair landed two double backflips in the competition and finished third at the event. Colin McKay (born August 29, 1975) is a Canadian professional skateboarder who is widely recognized for his involvement with the original Plan B Skateboards "superteam" (bunch of OG's) as well as the subsequent relaunch of the brand in 2005. Andy Macdonald (born July 31, 1973) is an American professional skateboarder. As of September 2013, he holds the record for the most X Games medals in vert skateboarding and won the World Cup Skateboarding competition eight times. Early life Macdonald is originally from Melrose, Massachusetts, and started skateboarding in 1986 when he was 12 years old. He graduated from Newton North High School in 1992. Karen Jonz Domingos Santos Claudio, known as Karen Jonz (born 29 September 1983), is a Brazilian skateboarder, designer and singer. She won the World Cup Skateboarding four times in the women's vertical class and also won the 2008 X Games women's vert skateboarding competition in Los Angeles. Lyndsey "Lyn-Z" Adams Hawkins (born September 21, 1989) is an American professional skateboarder. Jake Brown (born 6 September 1974) is an Australian skateboarder who specialises in transition skateboarding. He began competing in 1996 and regularly appears as a contestant in the X Games contest events. Brown has also successfully skateboarded the "MegaRamp" structure, on which he is the first person to ever perform a 720-degree rotation without grabbing his board as of September 2013.
