''X Faktorius'' is the Lithuanian version of ''The X Factor'', a series originating from the United Kingdom. Based on the original UK show, the concept of the series is to find new singing talent (solo or groups) contested by aspiring singers drawn from public auditions. TV3 Lithuania (''TV trys'') is a Lithuanian free-to-air television channel that was launched on 11 April 1993. It was owned by Modern Times Group (MTG) until 2017, when it was acquired by Providence Equity Partners for €115 million. "Proud Mary" is a song written by John Fogerty and first recorded by his band Creedence Clearwater Revival.
