Pussy Riot is a Russian feminist protest and performance art group based in Moscow that became popular for its provocative punk rock music which later turned into a more accessible style. Founded in August 2011, it has had a membership of approximately 11 women. The group staged unauthorized, provocative guerrilla gigs in public places. These performances were filmed as music videos and posted on the internet. The group's lyrical themes included feminism, LGBT rights, opposition to Russian President Vladimir Putin and his policies, and Putin's links to the leadership of the Russian Orthodox Church. The group gained global notoriety when five members of the group staged a performance inside Moscow's Cathedral of Christ the Saviour on February 21, 2012. ''Chicago XXX'' is the twentieth studio album, and thirtieth album overall, by the American band Chicago, released on March 21, 2006. It was Chicago's first album of entirely new material since 1991's '' Twenty 1''. Background The album was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee with horn sessions in Los Angeles, California over the summer of 2005. Production duties were handled by Jay DeMarcus of the country group Rascal Flatts, who came to the project through a friendship with Chicago's bassist-singer Jason Scheff. Luis Miguel González Bosé (born 3 April 1956), usually known as Miguel Bosé, is a Spanish pop new wave singer and actor. Early life Bosé was born in San Fernando Hospital in Panama City, Panama, the son of Italian actress Lucia Bosè (1931–2020) and Spanish bullfighter Luis Miguel Dominguín. Bosé grew up surrounded by art and culture: Pablo Picasso and Ernest Hemingway were close friends of the family. The XXX Tour was a worldwide concert tour by American rock band ZZ Top. Staged in support of their 1999 album '' XXX '', the tour visited arenas and stadiums from 1999 to 2002. With five legs and 134 shows, the tour began in Denver, Colorado on September 12, 1999 and ended on November 1, 2002 in London, England. The first two legs took place in the United States before the next leg visited Australasia. After three legs, the band was initially expected to tour Europe, but the European leg was postponed until over two years later, which was branded as "Euro-Afrique". Although the tour provoked a range of reactions from critics, it was generally well received. ''XXX'' is the thirteenth studio album (also including live material) by the American rock band ZZ Top, released in September 1999. The album's title commemorates the band's 30th anniversary. Overview The album is part studio, part live album, similar to the band's 1975 release '' Fandango!''. It was also ZZ Top first album without Bill Ham at the helm as producer, ''XXX'' was produced by Billy Gibbons instead. The live track, "Sinpusher", is an altered version of the band's 1994 song "Pincushion" with different lyrics and a slightly heavier guitar riff. ''XXX'' is a studio album by techno producer Jimmy Edgar. Released in June 2010 by !K7 Records, Allmusic gave it 3.5/5 stars, describing the album as "smutty neo-electro." Production and release Edgar began producing ''XXX'', his second solo album under his real name, around 2008. Edgar used more analog recording techniques than his previous releases, which had been in the genres of glitch and Detroit techno. Edgar also plays bass guitar on several tracks, and collaborates with several guest vocalists. Originally titled ''Deeper,'' ''XXX'' was allegedly rejected by Warp Records in 2008, with Edgar leaving the label around that time. ''XXX'' came out June 2010 on K7 Records. XXX is a South Korean hip hop duo consisting of rapper Kim Ximya (김심야) and producer FRNK (프랭크).
