The XPEL 225 is a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. The race was introduced in 2021 as one of four road course races on the Truck Series schedule. XPEL holds the naming rights to the race. The inaugural event in 2021 was sponsored by Toyota and called the Toyota Tundra 225. 2021 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series
The 2021 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series was the 27th season of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, a stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR in the United States. The season began at Daytona International Speedway with the NextEra Energy 250 on February 12. The regular season will end with the race at Watkins Glen International on August 7. The NASCAR playoffs will end with the Lucas Oil 150 at Phoenix Raceway on November 5. This season marks the 13th for Camping World Holdings as the series' title sponsor. In North American auto racing, a green–white–checker finish (GWC) is a racing restart procedure one in which the race is restarted from a caution period with 2 laps remaining. When the race distance is extended to accommodate such a finish, it is also sometimes known as an overtime finish. The name alludes to three racing flags: * green flag: shown to start or restart the race. * white flag: shown at the start of the last lap * checkered flag: shown at the finish of the race The prescribed number of final laps is usually two.
