History XHZTS received its concession on April 26, 1991. It was owned by Francisco Esparza Acevedo. That same day XHZTS and sister station XHGAP-FM 94.7 signed on, this station signing on five minutes after its sister. In February 2014, XHZTS and XHGAP moved to new facilities. XHGAP-FM is a radio station on 94.7 FM in Guadalupe, Zacatecas, Mexico. The station is owned by Grupo Plata Radio and is known as Súper G. History XHGAP received its concession on April 26, 1991. It was owned by Manuel de Alva Peña. That same day XHGAP and sister station XHZTS-FM 91.5 signed on, this station signing on five minutes before its sister. Zacatecas City
Zacatecas () is the principal city within the municipality in Mexico of the same name, and the capital and the largest city of the state of Zacatecas. Located in north-central Mexico, the city had its start as a Spanish mining camp in the mid-16th century. Native Americans had already known about the area's rich deposits of silver and other minerals. Due to the wealth that the mines provided, Zacatecas quickly became one of the most important mining cities in New Spain. Club Deportivo Mineros de Zacatecas is a Mexican football club from Zacatecas that compete in the Mexican Liga de Expansión MX. They are currently managed by Omar Alexis Moreno. History In December 2012, Grupo Pachuca purchased the Estudiantes Tecos franchise as they were relegated to the Ascenso MX. The team failed to gain promotion when they lost in penalties to Leones Negros de la U. de G. It was then that Grupo Pachuca decided to move the franchise from Zapopan to Zacatecas so as to not have four teams in Guadalajara. The city of Zacatecas had spent 11 years without an Ascenso team, since Real Sociedad de Zacatecas which were sold to Altamira in the summer of 2003. The Liga de Expansión MX, also known as Liga de Desarrollo (Liga BBVA Expansión MX for sponsorship reasons), is a Mexican football league founded in 2020 as part of the Mexican Football Federation's "Stabilization Project", which has the primary objective of rescuing the financially troubled teams from the Ascenso MX and prevent the disappearance of a second-tier league in Mexico, for which there will be no promotion and relegation for six years.
